General description ACOM VTSS (Vehicle Tracking and Security System) is a fully integrated system For vehicle tracking and security applications. The system is consisted of Control Centers (CC) and Car Boxes (CB) as shown in Figure.1. Each Control Center is able To monitor 1000 vehicles concurrently. And a Car Box can be monitored by 10 Control Center simultaneously. Since the dynamic IP address that is used for connecting CC to internet is allowed for CC the CC can be moved whenever and wherever. In the Control Center we separate the GIS (Geographic Information System) from the control program so that customers have opportunities to use any GIS that they are familiar with and to change to another GIS whenever they would Like to do. The only restriction is the GIS should be able to accept the GPS message of Gmouse from comm. Port of the PC (Personal Computer). The CB sends GPS data to and receives commands from the CC through internet Based on GPRS with TCP/IP protocol. The communication fee of sending data is Cheaper than SMS in the most of countries. The CB has four isolated input lines that Can be connected to buttons or sensors as shown in Figure 2. User can assign three Mobile-phone numbers and one Short Message for each input once the button or Sensor is activated the CB sends the Short Message to all assigned receivers for that active button or sensor immediately. Since all Short Messages are stored in the Simcard user can change the contents of the Short Message with mobile-phone easily. The CB has a 9-pin D type connector for connecting to PDA to navigate a GIS that is Able to accept the GPS message from Gmouse should be installed in the PDA.
