16+2G Managed Optical Ethernet Switch:
On Access 5216 family high-performance Layer 2 optical Ethernet switch
provides an ideal solution for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and fiber-to-the-desk
(FTTD), and for the applications where the environmental conditions exceed
the reach of CAT5 copper cable.
The On Access 5216 family offers sixteen 100Base-FX ports, and two 10 / 100 /
1000Base-TX or optional SFP 1000Base-X ports for flexibility and fast
connection speeds. It is with a 19-inch rack-mount width and a 1U height
standard design.
On Access 5216 family provides optional network management solution that
allows administrators to easily configure features, monitor performance, and
troubleshoot the switches using a standard RS-232 port or using web browser
and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)-basic network
management platforms.
On Access 5216 family includes 4 models as below:
1) On Access 5216M: manageable 16+2G optical Ethernet switch with sixteen
100Base-FX ports and two 10 / 100 / 1000Base-TX or optional SFP
1000Base-X ports
2) On Access 5016M: manageable 16 100Base-FX ports optical Ethernet switch
3) On Access 5216S: smart 24+2G optical Ethernet switch with sixteen
100Base-FX ports and two 10/100/1000Base-TX or optional SFP 1000Base-X
ports
4) On Access 5016S: smart sixteen 100Base-FX ports optical Ethernet switch

recognition mechanism enables the forwarding rate to proceed at a full
wire speed
